Podere 269 is a dream of mine that has become a reality..offering comfortable rooms and pleasant stays is my goal! That's why I have committed myself, I commit myself, and I will commit myself to the fullest! Podere 269 offers simple rooms but with everything necessary in a setting in the middle of the Maremma countryside with a beautiful garden just outside the rooms..and with a surprise just 2 km away..the sea and the most beautiful beaches of the area !
At Podere 269, breakfast is exclusively made with homemade items..every day I will let you taste sweets, tarts, etc., prepared following traditional recipes from my family but also drawing inspiration from recipes I have found on the internet. The bread I bake, instead, is made following my own recipe perfected over time. Jams made by me and my Mom with fruit sourced as much as possible from local farms. You will also find excellent yogurt, always "home made. " Additionally, of course, there is espresso coffee, cappuccino,tea..and juices. Breakfast is served outside under the porch and when the weather does not allow for outdoor dining, it will be served directly in the room with a splendid tray laden with all the things I prepare daily for you. As you may have understood, being in Italy, the main theme of breakfast is sweet, but if someone also likes to have a savory note, it will be my pleasure to fulfill that request. We are about 2 km from Capo Civinini beach, 3 km from Cala Civette, 4 km from Cala Violina..and other beaches.
The location is exactly halfway between Castiglione della Pescaia and Follonica, very close to Punta Ala (6 km).
Not just the sea! Nearby there are villages with sumptuous and refined buildings, as well as the famous spontaneous Tuscan architecture!
If you don't want to go to the sea, but you also don't want to walk through the villages, we also have several thermal locations..from luxurious thermal spas to free hot springs.
.and remember that we are in Italy, precisely in Tuscany, so after a day at the sea or at the thermal baths or walking around..a nice dinner to taste the thousand flavors that Maremma can offer is well deserved.
